Just found out that our former state of residence has royalty monies from one of our properties. We are in process of claiming. Took several phone call to found out location of the well/wells. Checked our records have no “bonus lease” that has been signed and have now been informed that if I want a “copy” of the division order I need to write and request one. In addition there is fair amount of money sitting with the operator. All of other properties have involved a bonus lease agreement and then division order. Am I right that a bonus lease and division order are REQUIRED? In past when operator/purchaser has changed we have received a new division order. Thanks B
