Newbie looking for help dawson county

Just found out I inherited non participating royalty rights. Looking for help in locating where it is on a map and how to find out if there is any activity near it. SW/4 of section 5, block 36 T-5 Dawson County, Texas.

Welcome to the forum. If you will post your question in the Texas Mineral Rights, Dawson County area, there are some helpful folks there. See the Counties tab at the top of the page.

I see on the GIS map where CGS/EOG Resources has approved permits to drill 3—10,000’ spraberry horizontal wells approx 1 1/2 to 2 miles NW of your minerals. 2 of these wells have already been spud(begin drilling)…the API # of the 3 wells are:115-33838///839 & 840.
