I am wondering if anyone knows the average production rate (bopd) on NEW wells in the Kern County/Elk Hills area? I am looking for both initial rates and where they typically settle out at after the first year or so. Additionally, what is the average production unit size for these new wells? Thanks!

You can go to the states web site and look it all up yourself. For your convenience I have even listed their web site below. They ave all the information you want there and it is simple to use as I have used it many times including their GIS mapping.
Looking at the old data I have Im seeing a average off 200 BOPD It seems that anything under 100 is not very profitable. here is a link with better information. Best of luck
