I have a non-operated WI in an old marginal well. A new operator proposes drilling a horiz that is on, or traverses our lease. They offer the usual WI participation option or a range of RI % tied to varying bonus amounts. What happens if I decline all options? Is there Oklahoma statute that addresses this? Many thanks for any input.
If you provide the section, township & range someone can probably help. You can participate in the new well or assign your interest or choose an option under a pooling that fits your circumstance.
