Hello everybody! I'm here to gather information about gas production in Robertson County. My families' land is leased to ConocoPhilips and before that Burlington. Burlington was great about providing us with information, but ever since CP took over, we haven't gotten squat as far as information. I have long suspected that they were holding information back from us about the value of our mineral rights and the gas well on our land. Just this week they seemed to double the mineral rights of our land and then lower them again for some inexplicable reason. My dad thinks it was to wring more taxes out of us.
I may be paranoid, but hopefully someone can enlighten me in any way about what's going on over there! Our royalty checks have been negligible, and I just want to know if we're being taken advantage of or not.
I'd appreciate any info anybody can give me. Thanks!
