I've been trying to figure out how to start the process of oil well drilling. I own land in Ward County and in 1983, Conoco Phillips did exploratory drilling. They discovered oil on the property but fracking wasn't around yet so they capped the well and moved on. I have proof of this from documentation that was provided at that time. What is the process to find an oil/gas company to start the process? Hoping someone can help.
