Anybody getting Oil & Gas Lease offers in the last few months? My minerals are located in Simmons City area near Nueces River (in western Live Oak County & south of Choke Canyon Reservoir just southwest of Three Rivers, TX) ,but not sure the exact survey & abstract as not listed on my Deed. Curious what current Lease Bonuses & Royalty Rates are for the area. This appears to be in the dry gas Eagle Ford horizontal drilling area. Thank you for any input!
You may get more accurate answers if you add your block name, abstract name and number and section number. That is how we can look up the area much more quickly.
We own surface and minerals in that same vicinity and have seen recent offers averaging $600-$675/ac with 1/6-1/5 royalty, depending on who is offering.

These offers seem low. If you could give me a better idea of where it is and how much acreage I could give you a better idea of what the bonus should be. 1/6 royalty is definitely way too low.
