Hi Everyone
My name is Jim and I am a fairly new owner of mineral rights along with my sister. My mineral rights leases are located in Shelby County, Texas and currently being maintained by the XTO Corporation headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. Being new, I will probably have a lot of questions for those who have had a great deal of experience in being a mineral rights owner. My first question would be: has anyone else had dealings with XTO and are they reliable? Being that I currently reside in Nevada and my sister in Oklahoma, how will we know if the readings and amounts are correct that the Company sends us?
Hoping to get a lot of good information from all of you on what to expect and what to avoid and how to be sure I am NOT getting ripped off (as they say).
