New member in Washita discussion group with questions @ Section 19

Three of my siblings and I recently inherited 160 acres, including the mineral rights, in Washita County, four miles due west of Sentinel. We are interested in any leasing, exploratory drilling, and active wells within a five mile radius of our land. The legal description is Lots 1 and 2 and the East Half of the NW Quarter of Section 19, Township 8 North, Range 19 W.I.M. We appreciate any information regarding oil or gas production near our property. Of note, our quarter section has been leased three separate times since 1944, with the most recent being a few years ago.

Some older wells. A few wells in 2003 -2007 . Chesapeake quit leasing in 2011. None of the new horizontal wells yet . Are you leased ?

Tx for the quick response to my recent question, Ron. How close to our land are the wells drilled in 2003-2007? Also, are the older wells still producing? Whether they are or not, are they near our property? We are not currently leased. However, our mother had a lease with PHII, a subsidiary of Conoco Phillips, from 2006-2009. She received a generous signing bonus, $350/acre rental, and 3/16 royalty.

Appreciate your help,

Tom Senter

There are wells in sections 1,3,8,9,10,11,12. There are two wells in 3&12 and more then two in 8,9,10,11. The 2003-2007 are in 10 .

I really appreciate the additional information, Ron, and hope that you won't mind if I have more questions for you
in the future.
