Looks like Formentera has had some success near Pearsall in the Pearsall shale. I have heard there is some leasing activity near Pearsall/Derby area. Does anyone have any details? I’m a mineral owner about 6 miles north of Formentera’s most recent well they are drilling now. (Sendero/Huey)
good to hear. Marathon let go of the lease they had with me because they felt Pearsall shale was too far down. I would dearly love for someone to lease my 127 acres 4 miles south of Pearsall!
Victor - not sure exactly your tract is located south of PEARSALL, but EOG has some acreage leased around Derby.
