As noted in previous posts, we have mineral rights in McKenzie (32-150-96). We were recently contacted and an unsolicited offer was made for less than 20 acres of mineral rights. Does anyone have any idea of what mineral rights are worth in the STR noted above? I will note that it looks like at least five new wells are permitted and/or being drilled and I think we have rights associated with these wells.
Also, I am not sure there are not more mineral acres than are noted since we don’t have copies of the leases (inherited rights). But, for this question, let’s assume the number of acres is between 5 and 20.
