K, not to put too fine a point on it, to get a good deal on minerals you need to deal directly with the unsophisticated mineral owner.
I don't buy and sell, but if I did I would be trying to sell you what I found less desirable, lower tier properties or even reasonably good properties that I do not see being developed for a long time.
I have had companies try to buy my property and when I told them their offer was laughable they offered to let me look at their inventory and told me I could make a offer. I told them it was unlikely they HAD any property as good as what they were seeking to buy from me. I have had 12 new wells drilled in the last year because my acres are profitable even at todays prices.
I Strenuously advise against anyone buying their mistakes but if you want the company name and a contact you can send me a friend request.
