We received an LOI from Warwick regarding new wells. We also received a Cause for this section and Ovintiv is named. A landman on behalf of Warwick reached out early in the fall to offer a term assignment said this was going to be complicated because of BOI lands involved. Anyone know what exactly is happening?
I find it helpful to put the OCC cases in numeric number and then put each case in date order so you can follow the applications and decisions. Warwick wants to drill three wells in 15/22. Ovintiv asked for at least two. They will probably hash it out before the hearings on who will prevail. Personally, I would do the term assignment. Do you already have a lease from shallow production or are you waiting on one? Making sure you are using the correct terminology.
