I have been contacted by Arroyo Energy Partners LLC in regards to mineral rights us siblings own near Williston. The paperwork they sent me shows a dollar amount of 10.00 for the purchase price which is different from the 72,000.00 they listed as the amount for my 13.3 acres. Is it normal procedure the have that amount so others don’t know what they paid, or is this a scam and they are trying to get my mineral rights for 10.00 ? They said that if I sign a carbon copy then they will send me a check and after I receive my money I can send the original notarized deed.
I know nothing about this stuff.
