Need help finding out status of my mineral rights

I own along with 5 others, some mineral rights in Atascosa County Texas. For several years, I received small royalty checks from EOG which stopped a few years ago. Now that Eagle Ford is in that county I am interested in making sure I am aware of any activity regarding that land. I have all of the Tract numbers etc. How can I inquire about this to make sure I am remaining informed?

The rights were given to my Grandfather in 1948 and passed on to my father then after his death, I inherited them. The other original five co-owners I'm sure have died and their portion bequeithed to their descendants. WIth all of that changing of names, I don't want to get lost in the shuffle!

Thanks!

You should first check to see if there are any new wells or permits on your acreage. There is a tutorial on the Home page which explains how to navigate the Railroad Commision website. You can also see if the old wells are still producing in case they lost track of you. You may be in a very hot area and should definitely check this out.

Thank you, Wade. I'll do that. Very much appreciate your input.

I subscribe to an online service called DrillingInfo that has the RRC's information in a much more user friendly format. If you will send me your legal description(s) I will look the area up for you.

You can post them here or you can accept my invitation to became a "Friend" on the Forum and do so in private.

Hope this helps -

This is not related to the above discussion, but As you did most kindly request if you could help me find a drilling company for my mineral rights - the details of which were given to you in the past , yes I would like you to help find a company that is drilling in the area of my mineral rights in Reeves county toyah region.

Petrohawk has already been informed and they are working on it according to their Land man. As I understand from Buzz there are a few companies that are drilling in the area.

If you do wish to get involved and be private about it you could be my" friend " on the forum. Thank you for your response.

I have some information I've been trying to get over to you for a couple of weeks now. Did you fall off the earth?

Charles

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks, K

I've checked here, my personal Forum email and my private email address and have not found an email from you with your email address. Could you send it to me at fieldlandservices@gmail.com ?
