I have lost/misplaced my 1099 Form for 2022, where can I get another copy?
Contact the issuer and ask for a replacement. If it is an oil company with check data on EnergyLink, then the 1099 may be available on that site. Recommend you scan tax data to computer file as you receive it.
You don’t need it to file your tax return. Just report your income.
You’ll need to contact the company you receive royalty payments from. Their phone number should be on your monthly statement, if not look online for an email address for their Owner Relations Dept.
