Does anyone know of leasing activity North of Corsicana? Had a lease hound make a run at me quoting $50 an acre and 1/6. Have not been around the area for several years so am definitely out of the loop. However I do know that is a cheap offer.
We have been contacted again by a leasing group that is offering a low figure of $50.00 per acre at 1/6th royalty for a three year primary term with a 2 year extension option at $50.00 acre.
Don’t anticipate we will sail with this very low figure. Does anyone have any realistic leasing figures in this area? The company is said to be packaging a land bundle for Presco drilling out of the Woodlands.
