Where will most of the Gas be sent to from the Leon Co. - Andersen Co. area’s be transported to by pipelines? Will it be sent directly to the Gulf Coast or where? Is there current pipeline capacity for all the new Bossier/Haynesville deep horizontal wells?
RRC shows buried pipelines, did you know that abstract 437 in Leon County, Texas has 3 buried gas and oil lines that run right through the abstract ( traveling south ) and continuing all the way to the Galveston area. East Texas is rich in infrastructure.

They are putting in new pipelines running from the three horizontal wells in A437 heading northeast. I would assume they would tie into the pipeline showing as “natural gas gathering”. I talked to a guy on the pipeline crew along CR 325 a month or so ago and he said that this section would be complete in a few months, and that it was one of 3 sections they are doing. I drove CR 317 last week and the pipeline that crosses it (not shown on map yet) is going in. Where the gas goes from there, I don’t know and don’t really care.
