Anyone here leased in Natchitoches Parish this year and/or recently? Our family has a large hold of land and know of many who have leased on the land surrounding ours (we have 600+acres)

There has been leasing in the county in the last 24 months, but only in certain areas. Mostly in 9N-8-10W and 8N-8-9W with a bit more to the NW.

Normal timeline is for leasing to happen, permits follow, the drilling on the permits that make economic sense. The current permits are in the NW corner of the parish. The more recent bulk of the leasing is in the eastern side of the parish, so watch for activity there. Newspapers, operator presentations, etc.
