Thanks for posting. There are some great speakers here as I scroll through the list. I used to work with Scott Tinker and he is amazing on his worldwide insights into energy. He just gave a talk in OKC recently. Should be a great conference.

An updated agenda has been posted on the NARO site, and you can click on the link at the top of this page in the blue box to access it. The Saturday night room block is already sold out, so please make your reservations asap to preserve your ability to get the special rate of $155/night for the newly renovated Barton Creek Resort for the other nights. Still plenty of room for the convention, but the special room rate block may get exhausted soon.

Saturday night room block is full, and the Tuesday night room block is almost full. Full means you cannot get rooms at the $155/night rate, but they likely still have rooms at higher rates. There are about 30 rooms left for Sunday and Monday night each, so sign up quickly if you don’t want to be paying a higher room rate!

Here is or pretty firm final agenda for the Convention. Great speakers! Still room if you want to register here - Register here

We are up to 284 registered and all speakers confirmed! Don’t miss this opportunity to come stay at the newly renovated Barton Creek Resort and attend a great convention.

A brief report on the convention, which finished today. We had about 325 attendees, and sold all our sponsor tables (25). Speakers were very good, especially Dr. Scott Tinker. It was my first time to see his terrific presentation.

Texas Chapter approved the Bylaw amendments, and elected new officers and board members.

42 attended the Minerals 101 add on course. 27 took CMM review and the exam.

Our next convention will be July 16-18, 2020 at the Omni Houston.

In the interim, the board is looking at doing two town hall meetings, one in South Texas and one in East Texas. Dates and venues to be announced.

Thanks to Wade and the whole team that put on the convention! I have been to lots of NARO conventions and this one was terrific. Great speakers and topics, updates on relevant legislation, activity across the state, important things to know about your lease and its clauses, etc.

Congratulations to the entire NARO Texas team. Great work on a well regarded convention.
