NARO newsletter article yesterday

Hello all,

Mr. Jeffrey Perry wrote an enlightening article in yesterday’s newsletter explaining the Oklahoma new trend of laydown units (three on top of one another) comprising one multi-unit where one well can span a 3840 acre development.

He explained how this “dilutes” the mineral owners’ revenue and boy is he right! I did the math and I couldn’t believe it.

I’m a victim with 4-17N-25W and 28 & 33-18N-25W in Ellis and Roger Mills counties. It’s a bummer!

Anyone else on the forum affected? I’m new and greatly appreciated that article. Thanks to Mr. Perry and Ms. Barnes for keeping us informed. I keep learning every week.

Happy New Year’s! :tada:

Suzanne

Jeffrey did a great job of explaining the issues. Let us know if there are other topics of interest that you would like to know about for OK! We try to do something useful and interesting every month.

I will. It certainly was useful to me! :+1:
