While there’s a fee for getting in the door, for those mineral owners who’d like to get in front of “their” Operator, NAPE is certainly one way to do this. You’ll, of course, need to check to make sure your Operator is going to be present, but many of them certainly are.
If you’re interested in the upstream industry as a whole, you can easily spend an entire day walking from booth talking shop with the companies present. Booths are generally staffed by land department personnel.
