Had competing offers from Braden and EOG for mineral rights in Montague county and went with EOG(better offer) Now I am not hearing anything about new drilling...They were both hot to get me to sign. Now--nothing. What's going on?
I own mineral rights in Montague County with EOG. I'm no expert and not speaking for EOG but my guess is they will drill at some point in the future. Things have to be scheduled. Not every well can be drilled at the same time. I just signed a lease with EOG for Montague county but don't expect immediate scheduling. I know it will be drilled at some point in 2012. They are simply lining up all the leases so they can drill when scheduling permits.
