Mitsui completed drilling on two wells some time ago: Lipsey 1H and Lipsey A 2H. Since that time, they have been filling a gigantic frac lake located nearby. As of today, it holds 15 feet of water and can handle as much as 25 feet. The lake is longer than two football fields. My guess is that Mitsui will need around 60 million gallons of water for the frac operation.
It appears that frac jobs will begin soon. Frac tanks are visible on the pad, and 4 pickup trucks drove away from the pad in the short time I was there this morning. Access signs have been placed at the opening of the access road for C&C Energy Services and Tiger Loop.

Alan - does this shed any light on a possible start of production for Mitsui’s Baker well in southern Freestone County (just north of Buffalo across the Leon County line - API No. 161-34869)?
That well was permitted almost a year ago and it seems that it should be completed by now and producing soon.
Does the Baker well need a fracking lake before it can start producing?
Alan, Excellent information thank you. We wonder the same about the Whitaker 1H well. Curious where we are in the process
Enverus still shows rig on site for the Baker 101H. Spud date was October 3, so drilling should be complete soon.

Drilling was completed some time ago for the Whitaker 1H, but I don’t have any info regarding current status.

Where is this in Freestone County? I know the Haynesville is active and prolific. I just entered Into a lease with Comstock. Any info is appreciated.
