Mitsui Lipsey Wells - Frac Job Is Imminent!

Drove by the wellsite this afternoon and there was a Liberty frac sign in place where the county road meets Highway 79. Crane was up above the well head, and there was a flare burning. I was told this probably indicates that a DFIT test has been done to measure permeability and help construct the frac design.

Lake was still full, so no water has been run, but it won’t be long!

Alan, thanks for your post about the Jamex Frankston well being completed, do you know if they have started their Frac work? Thanks, Jim

They have not started yet.

Alan. Thank you. These photos are great. So excellent to have a man on the ground in Leon!

Pump trucks are lined up on the pad today! Looks like the frac job on one of the Lipsey wells is beginning today.

Still going strong on the frac job as of yesterday. Pond drawdown is evident and water lines laid alon CR 340.

The frac jobs are finished. Drove by today and all the water lines and pumps were gone. Best guess is they finished up Sunday.

Thanks Alan, Hope my two are next. Did you see any waterlines headed the opposite way up 340 from the frac pond? I don’t know where Comstock is going their water from if not from there. Seems like a lot of expense was put into it if it was just for those two Lipsey wells. Have not been able to get a more recent satellite image than March 1st so I don’t know if Cactus 147 is still on site.

No water lines headed north. Comstock had a water source for the Olajuwon well, so I don’t think they need Mitsui’s water.

The Cactus Rig 147 sign was gone from the county road, so the rig may be gone.

You could have seen it from the road if it was still on site so maybe it’s gone. Let me know if you pass that way again and see any activity. It was a huge pad site over 15 crew trailers and offices so it’s going to be a big move out unless they are using it for some of the Dollie Jones Well and Cactus 145 support.
