Good article on what Laredo is doing - the increased proppant load and tighter perf cluster spacing plus use of materials like diverters ends up tapping / frac'ing more of the lateral.'

Their project with the GRI is leading edge technology as the try to "see" what a fractured formation looks like post stimulation. Laredo is not afraid to spend money on technology to better understand their reservoirs so as to optimize O&G recovery.

Of course, all their work is proprietary so others will not be able to share in their upside success
