How does one go about finding out if they have mineral rights on property they own near Pecos, Texas? Some history...we have a five acre lot and as well own a 15 acres parcel adjoining with some friends. We are from out of state. We see by Google maps that there are oil wells near us. Something must be happening in the area as the Reeves County has appraised our lots increasing their value by 900%. Thanks for any help.
