Mineral Rights owned by large family

The Gregson family owns mineral rights in Pawnee County. There are approximately 20 family members. In several instances leasing arrangements have been made with only one or two family members. How can that be changed so that all family members can participate.

How is it held now ? Are you a family member ?

WIlliam, Forming an LLC of the family properties with one of the family members as the Manager is the easiest IF you have more than one lease to let. IF it's just one lease, have one of the members that have made a deal talk to either the oil or gas purchaser or the Operator, if there isn't a well producing yet, to see if the other family members are listed as owners. If they are you send addresses and any other information they need to send money. If they are not, you have some title work to do & you will need a title attorney to prep & file the county papers needed.

Is it a single property we are talking about with several undivided interests?

I would think the family members that have signed leases own the minerals which said leases cover. The other family members may not own any interest in minerals under the lease.
