I just took over the mineral rights for 80 acres in Washita County. The lease is up in June - will the landmen contact me, or do I seek them out? Also, what are fair prices and percentages at the present?

There are a lot of variables that factor into bonuses & royalties paid, as well as the mineral owner being sought out by landmen. First and foremost, the most important factor is location - where is your lease?

The lease is in Section 10, Township 9 North, Range 20 West of the Indian Meridian.
