Mineral Rights Lease in Panola County

My relatives were recently offered $500 per acre for a mineral rights lease in Panola County. I read on this website last March that the going rate for that area was $5000 per acre. Does anyone know if that is the going rate currently?

$500 is low, but a lot depends on where your acreage is and how many net mineral acres you have. Can you tell us that?

Thanks for the reply. I found out the net acreage is 262 and area L Maragle survey A-438. If anyone has more information on going rate for this area in Panola County, I would appreciate the help. Also any experience with Classic Hydrocarbon Operating? Thank you

Classic is the company drilling the Haynesville wells right in your area. The problem you may run into is the depressed natural gas prices has depressed the bonuses and royalty fractions being offered.

Andrea,

I sent you a friend request if you would like to discuss further.
