Not sure I understand your question. Obviously as each generation passes its interest onto their heirs the interest will get divided further. If you own 100 mineral acres, and you have two heirs, they will each inherit 50 acres, (unless your will states otherwise) and if they each have two heirs, then they will inherit 25 acres each.
