Mineral rights in Winkler County

I inherited 1/4 of 1% of production as described as follows

Tracts 36-37-60-61, in Section Ten Block -B-12, Public School Lands, containing 20 Acres, more or less

Can any body help me with where this is located or any information about it.

I am new at this and would greatly appreciate any help you can give me.

I own mineral rights only. Thanks

Aubrey,

Do you have an Abstract number?

Clint Liles

Another place it says this a royalty interest in and under a certain lease and drilling contract made May 10 1927 of record in book 21, pages 141 to 144, deed records of Winkler County. I’m sorry, I may have wasted your time. Is that true or do I have something here?

If you gave us some names of who this property came from, it would be a lot easier to find. Who did you inherit the property from and possible who they inherited the property from.

I would be interested in purchasing your minerals if you want to sell.

After questions raised by Mr. Liles, i'm not sure i have anything. I got the mineral rights from my Great Uncle A. B. Schrock. It was assigned to him by the Mining and Engineering Corporation of Arizona , as shown above. Then the agreement says "TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, the above described ROYALTY INTEREST together with all and singular, the rights and appurtenances in anywise belonging, unto the said A. B. Schrock, his heirs and assigns forever." This instrument of ROYALTY INTEREST is made in and under a certain Lease and Drilling contract made 5/10/1927 between Albert McCollum, and the Mining & Engineering Corporation which lease is of record in book 21, pages 141 to 144 Deed of records Winkler County, Texas. Thank you for your interest. I hope I haven't wasted your time.

Aubrey,

I am posting info on Winkler County Clerks Office. Might be good to contact them and ask if they have a solution to your problem or you may have to go to the County Clerks Office and go through the books to find out your holdings. Good luck.
