Mineral Rights in Saskatchewan

My employer recently inherited a significant amount of mineral rights in the Saskatchewan area (Torquay specifically).

I am assisting him in finding someone that may be interested in leasing his mineral rights.

We are located in Scottsdale, AZ and are not familiar with the process of leasing Canadian mineral rights.

We are familiar with the mineral right leasing process in the US as we currently lease some of our mineral rights in Montana and North Dakota.

I was wondering if you are familiar with any online resources that we can use to see what similar mineral rights located near our mineral rights are being leased for and by whom? Are you aware of any public record sites that may help us?

The land descriptions are as follows:

NW Sec35 Twp01 Rge10 W2 Extension 0

NW Sec21 Twp03 Rge12 W2 Extension 3

There is a lot of activity in the area right now. There is a land company in Calgary Alberta that is currently attempting to buy leases in that area. You could look them up and talk to them, their name is Standard Land. Or you could put them up for lease on the Internet which I have seen several people do. Hope this helps. Janice

You are far west and south of me. The crown offers a royalty of just 5%… PLUS a 200,000 barrel royalty holiday on top in order to attract investment dollars. When oil is over 100$ they don’t care as much (the producers) . But this fact gives them a take it or leave it attitude. I have thought I will wait and be force pooled in view of this. Also consider if you sit over more than one pay zone. They are looking at a lot of potential future profits too but not telling YOU about it.

FHOA has a participant generated map for members with bonus, royalty, and location. Not sure how many members have provided data. My big brother has the keys (code password) to the sight and hasn’t found time to share it!
