We have received an unsolicited offer to purchase non-producing mineral rights in Jeff Davis County from a legitimate company. Would like to know if someone is willing to share recent experience with sale of rights in that county. Company is not interested in leasing (nor are we). Any information or advice appreciated.

Also, as of April 17, 2017 Cody Energy has an approved permit to drill a 12,000' wildcat well N/E of Ft. Davis(API 243-30108). http://webapps.rrc.state.tx.us/DP/drillDownQueryAction.do?fromPublicQuery=Y&name=TAFT&univDocNo=490896046
If those were my minerals I would wait and find out the outcome of those 2 wells before I would consider selling.
