This is all new to me. I just was contacted and signed a 5 yr lease on land in Divide County in North Dakota. Does anyone know if anything is happening in that area?

Here are Operators who are drilling in this county currently (as of the week of March 12, 2010).
Continental Resources, Baytex Energy, and Samson. All three are drilling horizontal wells for oil. Three are development wells and one is an exploration well.

Sorry Bea, I’m not sure exactly sure where Samson is drilling.

How are you getting drill/spud activity on a weekly basis? I use drillinginfo but don’t get that current data. If it’s website or something fill me in, especially if it can be used in Texas

Hi Bea. My 3 siblings and I own mineral rights in Divide county as well. Just offered $150 an acre, 1/6 royalty for 3 years.
We own some mineral rights in Divide County, the well name is thon, we just recently inherited these rights. Where do I go to find out info on this well. Its through Bakken oil thanks
SM Energy is also leasing and drilling in Divide County.
SM Energy offered us $200 per acre @ 4years, 1/6th royalty. We accepted this offer back in 2010. Still waiting for a permit for drilling. The section next to ours just had a well drilled, this is also owned by SM Energy.
