Mineral rights in Canada

Hello. I’m a relatively new mineral rights owner along with my brother and sister. The three of us inherited mineral rights to a small piece of property in Alberta, Canada, location SE Section 19, Township 37, Range 27, West of the 4th Meridian (undivided 1/9 interest). We had an offer to lease the rights about 3+ years ago. We decided at that time to decline the offer. The property is approximately 17.78 net acres. The offer at the time was $889.00 bonus consideration. The royalty offered was 15%. The property is located nearest the town of Red Deer. Just wondering if we are doing the right thing by patiently waiting for a better offer someday down the road?
