I’m looking for an accountant who is well versed with mineral royalties as well as owning interests in multiple states. Is there somewhere I can find a list to search? Anyone have a recommendation? I’m really hoping to find someone in Texas but that’s not a requirement

You will not need an accountant that actually owns minerals in several states. You need an accountant that is licensed to practice in the states where you have minerals. The Directories tab above may contain accountants. You can also contact the NARO chapters in the states where you have minerals and see if they can recommend someone. Some of the chapter board members are accountants or retired accountants, so they may be able to recommend an acquaintance.
