I have some questions on some mineral rights in Dawson county and an offer from a company I just got. Can you possibly help me see what I’m looking at and if there’s any activity around East-Half (E/2) of Section 8, Block 35, Township 4 North, T&P RR Co. Survey, Abstract 670? If so that’d be greatly appreciated!
I also have been told I may have inherited some royalties from my grandmother, Joyce Newbrough Breen or my granddad Phillip Newbrough if anyone is able to look that up and tell me if that information is correct.

I responded in your other thread, but is this for a lease or purchase of your minerals? MCM exploration is actively leasing in your section and around that area.

There isn’t any active activity on your section, but there are 2 horizontals about a half a mile southwest of you, as well as several a couple of miles to your east and west
Two old shallow wells that are P&A, You do have horizontal permits just catty corner to the S2. A-671.
Stevens & Tull are leasing in your abstract. Personally, I would not sell if horizontal drilling is imminent.
