Your minerals are in a good area for future exploration. Two horizontal wells (API # 227-37839 and 227-37856) were spud (begin drilling) in March 2014 to the Southwest of you in Block 27/Section 23/A-23. Apache Corporation is the operator targeting the Sprayberry formation. No completion reports available on RR Commission website. Also numerous older vertical wells are in the area.
