We have been contacted by Paramount Field Services with a lease agreement to lease 16 acres of mineral rights in Divide County, North Dakota. The offer is $50 per mineral acre and 16.6% royalty. We have no idea if this is in the ballpark. It seems somewhat low to us. Can anyone provide some information as to what is normal for the area? This acreage is located in Section 1, Township 162N, Range 102W.
