Mineral gas and oil rights for land owners

land purchased Feb 1994 (Morgan County) in which the seller retained gas and oil mineral rights. I have learned that if no existing wells or new wells were drilled in a ten year period from the land purchase the mineral rights go to the land owner. Where do I find the legal language to support this?
