My mother received an offer to buy mineral interest in the following Section 17, Township 10, Range 13E. This party, according to OCC, does not own any of the wells in the section. There has not been any 1073 form filed to make the changeover to the “New owner.” He has a bill of sale on file under the County Clerk. I would like somebody to make certain this is not a scam.
