In August 2015, my well changed from the Dore pool to the Nohly pool. Six months later "Federal" was added to the name of the well. A portion of those acres overlap and are now in both pools. This is only reflected on a map of the pools, but not in the production report that the operator is required to file with the state. My well name is shown only under the Nohly pool.
How do operators pay out royalties if mineral acres are overlapping in two different pools?
