Don’t you already have production from horizontals there? The area might be held by production which means no more leasing unless someone had a depth clause and have open zones.
Where do you go to get all of the knowledge that you know? It is wonderful to see someone who knows so much! Is there classes or a school that is available online? Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge with everyone! It is awesome!
I was lucky to grow up in a family of mineral owners and I was a production/exploration geologist for ~30 years with a major oil company. So know both sides of the business. I gleaned most of my mineral knowledge from the National Association of Royalty Owners and from taking classes on mineral ownership through AAPL and other organizations.
