I could not find any information about this company online. Does anyone see any indication that they will be more active than Ovintiv has been over the past couple of years in Oklahoma?

Must be a new group formed just for the Ovintiv sale and maybe more in the future.
Flywheel bought some of the the OK Marathon wells from Conoco Phillips.
Ovintiv announced the sale of their Oklahoma holdings to MidCon II Buyer Co, LLC. In searching the internet it appears that this company was established to make this transaction. I was just curious if anyone has information about this new company? Wondering if the new entity will be more aggressive drilling in-fill wells. We have minerals in Township 06 North, Range 04 West, Sections 2 and 11.
Depends upon if it is just a placeholder by a PE company or if it is actually an operator. Time will tell.
It’s the dirty little secret of the board that nobody talks about but operators aren’t rushing out to drill infill wells when they have open acreage to drill and hold. So yes, you may get notices in the mail of 6 wells being drilled, but after they drill the 1st one, it will be years until they get around to #2 if they ever do unless you are in the absolute prime areas.
