Hope everyone is doing great. Just checking to see if y’all know any news about Mewbourne Oil Co. drilling in this area? Online shows last info of 2-1-24. This is new to us - we are just trying to figure it all out. Appreciate y’alls assistance. Enjoy your day!
They permitted and drilled the two wells you reference. That is really all that seems to be going on right now. I mean, Mewbourne has drilled another 10+ wells within about 5+ miles of there in the last year, but that looks to be it for now in Sections 23 and 26. For now.
Wells seem to be cleaning up somewhat (i.e., February oil volumes better than January volumes).
Map below is all Mewbourne wells drilled in the last year in this area.
We just received division orders for wells drilled in 2023 in Section 22-22S-34E and Section 27-22S-34E. We had to do the legwork then convince Mewbourne we were owed division orders/royalty. It took a while but we finally received a nice check today.
BTA has plans to drill 8 wells starting this year (June I think) in Section 26-22S-34E.
Conoco-Phillips is very active in this area as well.
