In June 2018 EOG received permission from the OCC (cause 681019) to drill 4 horizontal wells within the section. Does anyone know what the status of this is, I have been watching the tax commission website for well information and have come up with nothing. The order gives them 1 year to commence the drilling. I would have thought they would have started immediately. Thank you for your help.
Watch for the wells on the OCC well records site. You will find them in 0808N04W. You have to hunt by the surface location. Form 1002A is the completion report. The well information is there.
The production data will be found at the OTC site. Gross Production Also under section 8. Production reports are running about six months behind, so not posted yet.
The wells you are mentioning are the wilson 0817 1H through 4H. This cause number was another request for 4 wells contained within section 17.
The first four wells were drilled from 8 into 17. 1H-4H Wilson wells. The case you referenced was 201802519. It seems to have some typos in it. In one place it asks for one additional well and in another, it asks for four. They have a year from the order in which to spud. It may be a backward approval for the wells that were already drilled. Time will tell.
They started with a request for one, then changed it to four. Rather confusing. Thank you for your input. You are right, we will find out by the one year mark.
