You need to give the complete section, township and range. There are many section 17s.
An interesting and useful rule-of-thumb for selling mineral rights is quite simple: don’t. Mineral rights cost you nothing to keep and have the potential to be profitable … without your ever needing to invest a penny. So, unless there is an over-powering need to sell, I wouldn’t if I were you.
