Completion Report
We had someone send us a letter in regards to us selling our mineral rights. We have them leased already and we donât understand why this person is looking to buy our plat. Not to mention we are unsure of how many tracts there are. We also have 4 in our family that own it anyway, so I donât see why someone would send us a letter asking for a price that we would be willing to sell our tracts for. If we donât know how much tract we own then how can someone else be willing to buy it? Just a question.
Clint or Charla, do you know if anything new is happening in Marion County, Texas? I H Johnson.

I donât see anything new at this time in Marion County. If someone is willing to buy your minerals you can bet they know something you donât know. Of the many wells that have been permitted since Jan. 1, 2014, I cannot find any completion reports on any of them on the Railroad Commission website.

We have had more than one person contact us and want to buy our mineral rights. Funny thing, they know how much you have but wonât tell you until you sell to them. Clint, the well was drilled and capped and I canât find where I found that before. I know a lot of activity is taking place in that area. Thanks again for always answering questions and helping me figure this out.
