We are in Robertson County about a mile from the Hadrian unit. Has anyone else received offers in Robertson County from Bull Run or EOG? If so please share the royalty, bonus, and term. Also please indicate if you have been able to negotiate the marketing cost out of the lease terms? Thanks.
We are just SW of the Hadrian Unit in Robertson and Bull Run sent us a lowball offer with crappy lease form. Their allocation (or sharing well) provision is unacceptable. Landowners need to hold out and demand more. They offered $600/nma for a 5 year lease with 3 year extension option and 1/5 royalty. We aren’t settling for that.
I leased a tract back in 2012 to EOG and it was a 3 year lease with a 2 year option. it was for $850 for the primary term and $850 for the 2 year option. 1/4 royalty. At near the end of the 3 year term EOG wanted me to take $400 and lease for an additional 5 year’s. I refused and made them give me a filed release, which they did. Always remember it is their option to pay the extension.
